"After Summer" is produced by legendary Glaswegian Norman Blake (Teenage Fanclub, BMX Bandits, The Pastels etc). Pia Fraus and Norman Blake kept file transfer programs busy for months to exchange soundfiles; this relationship has created something magical. Eluvium

Apodo del compositor de música ambiental Matthew Cooper, que actualmente reside en Portland, Oregón. Cooper, que nació en Tennessee y creció en Louisville, estado de Kentucky, antes de mudarse al noroeste. Se le conoce por combinar varios géneros de música experimental incluyendo shoegaze, electrónica, minimalista y piano. Eluvium actualmente está ligada al sello discográfico ''Temporary Residence Limited''.
As an ambient artist, Eluvium's Matthew Cooper is working in a pretty crowded field, but with a gradually evolving sound and distinctive approach to his genre, his profile continues to rise. Though his 2003 all-piano record An Accidental Memory in Case of Death might have seemed like a left turn in light of the guitar-based drone tracks that came before and after, his records all share an aesthetic: Eluvium's ambient music is music first and ambient second; it leans forward, asks for consideration, and has no desire to slip into the background. "Saturdays=Youth" es la celebración explicita a la juventud, de sentimentos aturdidos de cuando tienes 15 años. Este álbum es una carta de amor en toda regla que evoca a la juventud mezclada con destellos eléctrónicos y sonidos retros a los 80. Realmente un disco para nostágicos.

El álbum además fue grabado con Ken Thomas (conocido por sus trabajos con Sigur Rós, The Sugarcubes, Cocteau Twins y Suede) y Ewan Pearson (que también ha producido a Tracey Thorn, The Rapture y Ladytron) y editado con Mute Records.
